It always helps me when I feel a scratchy throat or cold coming on. I haven't had a really bad cold in over 12 years. I used to get bronchitis at least twice a year, but the shock to my immune system from shingles and the resulting post-herpetic neuralgia must have done something to help me ward off viruses. However, you will remember how sick I got when we flew (unpressurized) up to Camp Roberts in 1964. I haven't had the nerve to get on another airplane since, except once to Orlando in 1982.
